you never know
TeenAger needed a ride to work this morning, so off we went to get her there by eight. On the way, I saw a young lady putting up her “Yard Sale” sign, so I figured I’d check it out on the way back home.
In my slippers & pajamas, and coffee in hand I stroll up to look at the offered goods. The Yard Sale Guy asks “Hey, don’t you sing in that Johnny G. Lyon band?” “Yep” I say as I think about my billiard ball pajama bottoms. We talked a bit about Ybor City and local music.
Meanwhile, Ms. Yard Sale was over at the sidewalk chatting with her neighbor, when the neighbor suddenly calls out “Hey, are you that tommy from Sticks of Fire?” “Yep” I say as I wonder why on earth didn’t I just throw on some jeans. “I have a blog,” she says. A better look at her confirms that yes, I have seen this cutie’s picture before. And now I’ve seen her in person, too.
We all talked a bit, I bought a couple of things for the kids, and I scurried back home.
The KinderKid is awake now, we’ve eaten, and I’m still in my pajamas.

You are right Jeff! The funny thing is after I told this story to a friend of mine, they said, hey isn’t that the guy that has the best Blog in Tampa? I was shocked they read blogs and were up to speed on the “Blog” world.

To be perfectly fair, you really should post a picture of those billiard ball pajamas.
