An email from a group called “Hillsborough Tax Watch” was linked back to County Commissioner Brian Blair, but he doesn’t know how that could happen. Blair says he knows the guy running it, but won’t give their names. He gave them use of his mailing list, and donated money to their cause.
“Hillsborough Tax Watch” is not affiliated with Florida Tax Watch, and FTW doesn’t want the unnamed guy to use that moniker. So we won’t. Brian Blair won’t tell us his real name, so we can’t use that either. This could get complex. We’ll give ‘em a code name, like “Deep Throat” to keep it from getting confusing.
Blair knows, agrees with, and financially supports “The Killer Beee”. “The Killer Beee” email claims their address is the same address of the County Offices. Links in “The Killer Beee” email leads to registering for Blair’s email list. “The Killer Beee” email may have been sent (I am trying to confirm this) from a computer in the county offices, maybe even from Brian Blair’s assistant, Josh Burgin.
The best part is Blair’s flip-flops in the St. Pete Times article.

“What Josh does on his own personal time is not my business.”
I sure would like to know who is taking Blair’s thoughts, money, address, assistant, support and mailing list. But I’m certain Blair won’t rest until he finds “The Killer Beee.”

I’m sure he could take a page from another famous ex-sports star who’s also investigating a crime he didn’t commit. But since he can’t hire Johnny Cochran, we won’t be able to hear gems like “If the subordinate mails, the prosecution fails”.

You get best website in the WP. I top the list for strangest blog names in TBT. I don’t mind that. Ronda Storms and Norwood as best conservative and liberal is another story. Dottie Berger’s work with children makes her the best conservative (in my book). There are many advocates that could be best liberal.
I do wish you would state your opinion on issues more. The Debra Lafave post is a good example. I like to know what you think about the privacy issues. Political blogging is about punditry. Having an opinion may piss off some readers, but that’s part of blogging.

I’m sure the investigation will begin as soon as Blair can figure out how to answer the question about his attending the stripper batchelor party put on by “no show” Sucarichi of the Hillsborough County Fire Dept. Remeber, the firmen got disciplined but no where does Blair’s name appear. Tampa PD, who did “investigate” responds that they were only asked to look into misconduct regarding the firemen. “No show” is also currently negoting the new fire contract. Wonder why “no show” is so safe… ta da he’s Blair’s cousin. No wonder that Blair is the “whore” of the unions and their election support.

Who ever anonymous is doesn’t have his facts straight. George is not related to Brian Blair. I should know.
