Congratulations to Lake Wales Little League Junior Softball Team. Lake Wales beat the representatives for Latin America (Maunabo, PR), West (Grand Terrace, CA), Asia Pacific (Bacolod City, Philippines), and Central (Jenison, MI), going 4-0 in pool play. They beat the East (Milton, PA) in a semifinal, and finally the Southwest U.S. to win the World Series. Both Lake Wales (who represented the South), and La Grange, TX (Southwest) were 5-0 in the tournament held in Kirkland, WA before meeting in the finals with our very own Lake Wales winning 4-0. Congratulations!!
