Lee Roy Selmon made it to the Pro Football Hall of Fame by disrupting plays, hammering the quarterback, and generally gumming up the offense.
It seems like the Lee Roy Selmon Expressway wants to get in the Hall of Fame, too. It disrupts travelers, hammers the drivers, and generally gums up the traffic.
If you make it through the half-paved detours, if you make it past the sinking overpass, if you make it through the spray paint, you still have to dodge the nails strewn about the road.
If you get through all that, you deserve a beer. They keep ‘em cold at Lee Roy’s restaurant.
