dastardly sports team owners
John has a sneaking suspicion that the new owners of the Devil Rays are holding out to sell the team back to Major League Baseball when demands of a new stadium are not met. At first I thought it was an outlandish conspiracy theory, but after reading it a couple times, it does not seem so outlandish.
I have my own conspiracy theory about the Buccaneers.

I’d like to publicly admit I’m sorry. I was an Expos fan and look what happened. I move to the area and there are contraction hints about the Rays.
Thought I hate Loria I promise to become a Marlins fan if there is a chance it will contract the team.

Domoni — bigger chance for relocation for the Marlins than contraction. They are trying to get a new stadium built and can’t scrape the cash together.

I’m not sure sure. I’ve seen Loria’s work. He did all he could to kill baseball in Montreal, and I am sure he is working his magic in Miami.

Yeah, I used to administrate a huge message board fro sports in general and there was a big Expos presence on that site and Loria was the crown prince of Evil…. They’ve already dropped hints that they’ve been talking to Las Vegas. They want a retractable roof stadium near the Orange Bowl (horrid location) and the state has balked at helping to fund things….
